HEYA !!!

*ANSWER*

Given ,

In first case ,

Distance travelled =20m
Time taken = 3min

So, change the time in second ,(SI unit)

3*60 sec = 180 sec

In second case ,

Distance travelled = 30m
Time taken = 4 min

Change the time in second ,(SI unit)

4*60 sec = 240 sec

Now ,

The total distance travelled = 20m + 40m

= 60m

The total time taken = 180sec + 240sec

= 420sec

We know that ,

Average speed =

Total distance/Total time

= 60/420

= 1/7

= 0.142 m/sec
