Displacement

This is the change in position.

If an object comes back to the same position or rather the starting point the displacement becomes 0.

In our case :

The displacement from A to B is 300m

The displacement from A to B to A is 0

Answer :

0

The Total displacement of the body is zero.

This is because, the Displacement is the shortest distance between the Initial and the Final positions.

Now, If the person moves from one Point A to the Other point B, then the displacement will be 300 m, but after that he reaches B and then again comes back to A, then displacement will be -300 m, since it is the vector quantity.

∴ Total displacement from A to B, then B to A = 300 - 300

= 0 m.

Hope It helps.
