Answer:

8m

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the big square piece of cloth = 1 m

Find the length of 1 piece of napkin:

length = 1 ÷ 2 = 0.5 m

Find the perimeter of one napkin:

Perimeter = 4 x Length

Perimeter = 4 x 0.5

Perimeter = 2m

Find the perimeter of 4 napkins:

1 napkin = 2m

4 napkins = 2 x 4 = 8m

Answer:  8m of trimming is required for 4 napkins.

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

As, we can see That, The napkins will be in Square shape.

And, Given That, length of Square piece of cloth is 1m = 100cm.

So,

Side of Each Napkin ( As it is dividing in Two Equal parts ) = 100/2 = 50cm.

Now, we know That, Perimeter of Square = 4 * side.

So,

→ Perimeter of one Napkin = 4 * 50 = 200cm.

So ,

Perimeter of 4 such Napkins = 200 * 4 = 800cm.

Now, we know That, 100cm = 1m .

So ,,

100cm = 1m

→ 1cm = (1/100)m

→ 800cm = (1/100) * 800 = 8m.

Therefore the length of lace will require to trim all four sides of all the napkins is 8m .
