as the earth is continuously moving so if a person looks at us form outer space would it mean that there is nothing as rest ?

being at rest or in motion is a thing of reference with respect to whom we are saying.

example: if we see a chalk lying on the ground (when we look to it when we are at the earth's surface) it will be stationary because it will not show movement in respect to the surrounding but when we look from space it has to be considered as if it is in motion because the earth is revolving and it is lying on the surface of earth so it will also considered a motion showing object.
