As the sunlight is essential for the plants in the time of photosynthesis. And how do the aquatic plants which lives inside the houses will make their food through photosynthesis? Did they get any sunlight for this photosynthesis

Plants use chlorophyll . (..the green pigment in leaves...) to trap solar energy which in turn is used to split water molecules to release hydrogen that combines with carbon dioxide of the atmosphere to make starch. Oxygen is released as a result. This process will not happen in the absence of sunlight
