as we know that burning of magnesium ribbion gives a dazzling flame then why we dont use it in bulb ?

bcoz it has very low melting point than TUNGSTEN and when it is burnt in air it reacts with oxygen to give a white powder( Magnesium oxide MgO). So we can't use it again.
THIS IS WHY IT IS NOT USED IN THE BULB
