Length of sari = 5m = 500cm

breadth of sari = 1.3 m = 130 cm

area of sari = length X breadth

=> 500X 130

=> 65000

Length of sari without border = 500-2×25

=> 450

Breadth of sari without border = 130-2×25

=> 130-50

=> 80

area of sari without border = (450×80)

=> 36000

Area of border = (65000-36000) = 29000

Cost of painting border = 29000/10 = 2900

Cost of painting border is Rs. 2900 .
