profit = 5% =1/20 or 20u cp and 20 +1 =21u sp
21 u =315
7u =105
u=15
so cp =20u or 20 × 15 =300
now sp =275
loss =300 -275 =25
loss % =25/300 ×100=25/3 =8.33%
21 u =315
7u =105
u=15
so cp =20u or 20 × 15 =300
now sp =275
loss =300 -275 =25
loss % =25/300 ×100=25/3 =8.33%

let CP be x rupee
profit on CP of 5 % =315
x +5%of x = 315
( on solving......)
x = 300
Now if article is sold for 275 then,
actual loss= 300-275= 25
loss percent = 25 x 100/300
=8.33%
profit on CP of 5 % =315
x +5%of x = 315
( on solving......)
x = 300
Now if article is sold for 275 then,
actual loss= 300-275= 25
loss percent = 25 x 100/300
=8.33%
