Ashish and Suresh together have ₹700 in total. Suresh has three times as much money as Ashish. How much money does each of them have? Answer must be Ashish has ₹175; Suresh has ₹525​

thus the amount of money that Suresh will have will be equal to ₹(700-X) because the total money that they both have is equal to ₹700

So according to question

3 times of the money that Ashish has = the money Suresh has

thus 3*X=(700-X)

3X = 700 - X

3X + X = 700

4X = 700

thus X = 700/4

X = ₹175

thus Ashish has ₹175

and Suresh has ₹(700-175) = ₹525
