hey mate your answer

Ashish got 6% profit on 51000

profit=51000×6/100

=306000/100

=3060

cost price of bike for Ashok=51000-3060-120

=51000-3180

let cp in which ashok bought the bike be x.

profit %=6%

sp of bike =(100+profit%)/100×co

=(100+6)/100 × x

=106x/100

now cp in which ashish bought the bike is 106x/100

also he spent some money in its repairing

therefore total cp=120+106x/100

(106x+12000)/100

given, that sp is 51,000

also he made no gain and no loss after selling it.

therefore cp=sp

(106x+12000)/100=51000

106x+12000=5100000

=106x=5100000-12000

106x= 5088000

x=5088000/106

=48,000

therefore cp of bike for ashok is Rs48,000
