a) 6 ( t - 2 ) = 18

ans: 6t - 12 = 18 (how do you get 12 here ??)
6t = 18 + 12
6t = 30

t = 30/6
t = 5

because when you do 6(t-2) when you do 6×t you'll get 6t and when multiply 6×2 you'll get the answer as 12 iss it okay

Since, bracket means multiplication, we multiply 6 with t and 2 and get 6t and 12.
