We honor our parents by obeying them and doing those things that give them joy and happiness. ... Most scholars agree God placed it here because of the unique role parents play, a role in which they represent God to their children. To honor and obey parents is to honor and obey God.

Steps

Write the date, day and time, then start with Dear Diary (as diary is like a friend).

Begin the entry with general sentence describing the day or momentary feelings.

In the body, you may discuss an event, your feelings towards it. ...

Conclude with final remark and future course of action.

Now it's called journaling. It's simply writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly. And if you struggle with stress, depression, or anxiety, keeping a journal can help you gain control of your emotions and improve your mental health.

Dear Diary

Today I asked my parents how do they feel when I obey them & also when I disobey them. They said that when you obey us we feel respected and honored. It feels as if someone cares for our decisions.  After some time I asked how do you feel when I disobey you? Then what they said was shocking to me. The said that its not necessary for you to obey us but yes there are some things that you have to obey us. Then I asked what are such things that i have to obey? Then my dad answered that such as listening to us, such as you eat candy before eating salad and when we tell no you should not eat it. Then I said that from now on wards I will listen to you . After I went to my room, my mom came in and said that you need not always obey our orders, you can tell no. Its not like we will beat you or not give you food to eat but yes we tell you to obey our orders because we know what is best for you and not. We advise you as we are speaking from our experience or some one else." Then i hugged her and said "I love you mom.
