asking out of curiosity...what would happen if blood was added to acid

ph of Blood is slightly basic though it can range from 0 to 14.

depending on pH and Molarity of infused acid , a reaction will happen.

if blood is basic Salt shall beborecipitated and water content will increase , making it more neutral.

however if it is acidic already , a possibility of formation of the bicarbonate ions neutralize the hydronium ions forming carbonic acid and water.

Carbonic acid is already a component of the buffering system of blood , thus removing the ahydronium ion and preventing the pH of blood from becoming acidic.
