AnsweR : 5

Formula :- \rm {h}^{2}  =  {b}^{2} + {p}^{2}

Here , P = 3 , B = 4 and H = ?

Given,

The length of the height ( perpendicular ) and the base is given.

To find :

x in the given fig. that is the hypotenuse.

How to find :

By using the Pythagoras theorem we can find it.

Solution :

 \rm \: given,   \\  \rm{ {p}^{2}  = 3} \\  \rm{ {b}^{2}  = 4} \\  \rm{p = \:  ? } \\  \rm \blue{by \: using \: the \: formula, } \\ \implies  \rm{ {h}^{2} =  {p}^{2} +  {b}^{2}   } \\ \implies  \rm{ {h}^{2} =  {3}^{2}  +  {4}^{2}  } \\  \implies \rm{ {h}^{2} = 9 + 16 } \\ \implies  \rm{ {h}^{2} = 25 } \\  \implies \rm{h =  \sqrt{25} }  \\  \therefore \rm{h \:  = 5} \:  \bf \blue{ans...}

Hence , x = 5 (Ans)....
