Volleyball is a team sport. The teams are separated by a large net. It has six players on each side of the net.The objective of the game is to legally return the ball over the net in such a manner that the opponent’s team cannot make a legal return. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic game since 1964.
There are many variations on the basic rules of volleyball. By far the most popular of these is beach volleyball, which is played on sand with two people per team.
