Answer:

aslam profit 31500 and Akram profit 35000

Step-by-step explanation:

Aslam invested  27000

Akram invested 30000

Aslam/Akram=27000/30000

                     =9p/10p

total 9p+10p=19 p

total profit is 19p

19p=66500

1p=3500

9p=31500(Aslam)

10p=35000(Akram)

Given:

Sum invested by Aslam, S₁ = Rs. 27000

Sum invested by Akram, S₂ = Rs. 30000

Profit at the end of the year, P = Rs. 66500

Find:

The profit of each one.

Solution:

The simplified form of capital ratio is given by,

Aslam's Share : Akram's Share = S₁ : S₂

                                                    = 27000 : 30000

                                                    = 27 : 30

                                                    = 9 : 10

Sum of ratios, n = 9 + 10 = 19

Total profit, P = Rs. 66500

Aslam's profit, P₁ = (9/n) × P

                            = (9/19) × 66500

                            = 9/19 × 66500

                            = 9 × 3500 = Rs. 31500

Akram's profit, P₂ = (10/n) × P

                            = (10/19) × 66500

                            = 10/19 × 66500

                            = 10 × 3500 = Rs. 35000

Hence, Aslam's share of profit = Rs. 31500 and Akram's share of profit = Rs. 35000.
