Reason (R) : insulin is not produced in sufficient quantity by pancreas.
i) Both ‘A’ and ‘R’ are true and ‘R’ explains ‘A’.

In this case, the right answer is option A ie both the cases ie A are R are true and R explain A, why it happens.

This is because, in case if person who is suffering from diabetic mellitus, the amount of glucose content is extremely high and it has often been stored in unused form in the persons body. So, this might also be that the insulin is not produced in appropriate quantity in the body of the person.

Insulin should be present in the right proportion so as to balance a person's body.
