Explanation:

Image formed by concave mirror is different for objects placed at different distance from the mirror. Although the image formed by the concave mirror is mostly real  and inverted, image is virtual when the object is placed in between pole and focus.

But for a object at any other position, for example, if the image comes from infinity then the image forms at focus  and nature is real, inverted and diminished.

Hence, the Assertion is false because its not always true. But the Reason is correct because image formed do depends on the position of the object always.
