The fall of Roman Empire in the 5th century marked the beginning of Renaissance.  The period before the Middle Ages was a new beginning in modern history which lasted for 8 to 9 centuries.   There were many changes in the field of literature, science, arts and society which started from Florence in Italy.

The period of Renaissance was the period of explosion of science, politics, culture in Europe just after the fall of Roman Kingdom. Historians marked the time period between 14th and 17th century as the period of Renaissance.

Renaissance, an Italian term which literally means rebirth. Rebirth which literally refers to the birth of discoveries and explorations, understanding the astronomy, discovery of marine compass, paper, printing method and not the least Gunpowder. Renaissance period is now known as the birth of modern ages because it had changed the world completely in which mankind became powerful than anything on the earth.
