Explanation:

Priority is decided by atomic weight of directly bonded atom. More the at. wt. lesser is priority no.

E here can be regarded as trans form.

And Z as cis form.

NOW in first case we will divide the compound in right and left part. And now we will decide the priority by numbering them.

Now lets first talk about left side C is bonded with Br and H now we know Br at wt is more than H so. {Br - "1" & H - "2"}

Simmilarily in right side C is bonded with Cl and F , Now {F - "2" & Cl -"1"}

Now lets check the no.'s are arranged in trans form or cis form.

In both the sides (right and left of compound)

1 is upper side while 2 is in lower side this is Cis type therefore this Compound is "Z type".

Now in second

In left side C is directly bonded to H and C so thus C -"1" & H -"2"

And same goes for left side.

In this case also we have 1 in upper side and 2 in lower side which is a cis form thus is "Z type".
