Assume, if you cut 10 trees and plant 10 new saplings every month. Do you think the number of trees In the forest remain unchanged?

If we cut 10 trees and plant 10 new saplings every month, apparently it seems that the number of trees remain unchanged. But this is not the case in reality.

This is because, a sapling will take a very long time to result in a fully grown tree.

All the saplings may not eventually turn into fully grown trees as some of them may die due to unfavorable weather conditions or if they do not get all the necessary factors for germination like air, water, sunlight and the right kind of soil necessary for that particular sapling.
