Let us take out the number of atoms in 6.4 g of copper .
=> We know that , Number of atoms in 64 g if copper = 6.023 × 10^23
=> So , in 6.4 g of copper , no. of atoms will be = 6.023 × 10^23/64 × 6.4
=> 6.023 × 10^22 atoms in 6.4 g in copper
=> According to the question ,, as each atom contributes one free electron ,, Therefore
♦ =>>> Number of free electrons in copper wire ➡ 6.023 × 10^22 .
