Dear Brother Sunil,

How are you, my little cute brother? I hope my letter finds you at the best of your health. I am good here. I am missing you very much. I am very sorry dear. I can not come because of the lockdown. Be safe and happy. I am writing this letter to tell you about some merits and demerits of online classes. For this situation, online classes are very useful. They help you to know new things. Even you can know how other students study. But it also has some disadvantages. Some poor students cannot afford it. And if there is technical issue then it will have no use. It is not clear that students understand all things in online classes.

As in reality, the teacher used to understand the student's problem and clear them one by one. But it is not possible in online classes as teachers have to work with time.

So, be smart and work in an effective way. Use it in a better way. Do not misuse it.

I love my dear brother. Give my respect to Uncle and Aunty. Be happy. We will meet soon.

INFORMAL LETTER

Sender's Address, (Generally 3 lines)

31st May 2020,

Dear Sahil,

I am fine here with good mood and health and hope that you are also fine at your place.

As you also know that the whole world is facing a lot due to corona pandemic. Whole country is under lockdown as social distancing is the need of the hour. In such a crucial time we cannot let our education to be left behind and hence schools and colleges have come up with the concept of online education.

Online education has both merits and demerits. Let me tell you some of them.

Merits :-

  • Allows one to study even in pandemic.
  • Helps teachers and students to use technology on a wider scale hence brushing up their knowledge.
  • Gives an opportunity to parents to have a look on their children and the teaching quality of schools and colleges.
  • Time saving.

Demerits :-

  • Not every student has access to Wi-fi's and many of them do not live in good network areas.
  • Many students don't take online classes seriously.
  • Many students prank their teachers if they are not good at technology.
  • Does not give a feel of education which one gets by attending schools/colleges.

Every situation has two faces. It depends on whether we want to deal with it wisely or just play it around. We cannot ignore our classes as they are important. What we can and we should do is to co-operate and use this time to learn things seriously.

I kind of have mixed experiences of my online classes. Sometimes, I find them helpful and sometimes I don't but since they are important therefore I do not miss them. I wish you are also having your online classes nicely and you are learning out of them.

Do right me about your experience as well. Also, just stay at home only, do not go out. Wash your hands regularly. Eat healthy and build up a strong immunity.

Yours lovely,

Shikha.
