Dear Diary:
I am very sad today! I attended poor nightingale’s funeral. Such a bright creature died so tragically! I remember the night she arrived at the Bog and cast forth her melodies. All the creatures had welcomed her. And then that villain, the frog set a cunning trap for her. The innocent and inexperienced bird could not see through his shrewdness. He exploited her so much; if any other creature would have been in her place, it would have run away. But she stayed! She was foolish! She should have flown away. Now the creatures of Bingle Bog won’t hear her melodious voice at all. May her soul rest in peace!
