a gas consists of very large number of atoms or molecules which are perfect elastic Spheres.
2 the molecule of a gas are in a state of random motion . and move all direction .
3 it is assumed that size of gas molecule is negligible in compare to total volume of gas.
4 molecules do not exert force of attraction or repulsion except during collision.
5 collisions are perfectly elastic no energy loss occur
6 all these assumption are for ideal gases which do not occur realy
