Given - Temperature - 10℃

time - 0.274 sec

Find - distance of reflecting surface to hear echo.

Solution - Speed of sound varies at different temperature. Speed of sound at 10℃ is 337.33 m/s. To calculate the distance of reflecting surface for echo to hear,the formula used is- 2d = v*t

In the equation, d stands for distance, v is for speed and t represents time.

2d = 337.33*0.274

2d = 92.43 m

d = 46.2 m.

Hence, distance of reflecting surface to hear echo is - 46.2 m
