The value of solution constant is 0.0827 Latm/Kmol

Explanation:

\pi =CRT

\pi = osmotic pressure = 3.2 atm

C= concentration in Molarity  = ?

Molarity=\frac{n}{V_s}

where,

n= moles of solute

V_s = volume of solution = 1L

moles of solute =\frac{\text {given mass}}{\text {molar mass}}=\frac{45g}{342g/mol}=0.132moles

Now put all the given values in the formula of molarity, we get

Molarity=\frac{0.132moles}{1L}=0.132mole/L

R= solution constant = ?

T= temperature =20^0C=(20+273)K=293K

3.2atm=0.132mol/L\times R\times 293K

R=0.0827Latm/Kmol
