At a BPO, the 41 associates in the US practice share 2 small machines and 3 large machines. The 28 associates in the Europe practice all share small machines. The 63 associates in the India practice all share large machines. If the number of large machines needed for the India practice is 3 more than the number of small machines needed for Europe practice, how many associates can share each large machine? If you think there isnt sufficient data to answer this question, then put o as your answer. (Assume that the number of associates who share each small machine is always the same, and the number of associates who share any large machine is also always the same.)

Given:- In the US, 41 associates share 2 small machines and 3 large machines.

In Europe, 28 associates share all small machines.

In India, 63 associates share all large machines.

To Find:- Number of associates who can share each large machine

Solution:- It is given that number of associates who share each small machine is always the same, and the number of associates who share any large machine is always the same.

Therefore 28 associates in Europe=63 associates in India

Let the number of small machines be x

Therefore, the number of large machines= x+3

28*x=63*(x+3)

28x=63x+189

35x=189

x=5.4.

Hence, the number of large machines is 8.4.
