At a camp, there is sufficient food for 54 scouts for 7 days. If 9 more scouts join the camp, how long will the food last?​

54+9=63

54*7/63 =6

If 54 scouts is added to 9 scouts = 54+9 = 63 scouts. The fore totally there 63 scouts. So 63/54*7= to the number of days the food will last = 63/378= 6 days
