At carnival, the probability of choosing a winning duck = 0.24

So, probability of not chosing a winning duck = 0.76

Or we can say

Probability of chosing a non winning duck = 0.76

So, let non winning ducks be x

SO we have

x ÷ 25 = 0.76

x = 25 × 0.76

x = 19

Therefore 19 ducks are non winning.

Hello Dear.

Here is the answer---

→→→→→→→→

Number of Rubber Ducks = 25 Ducks.

Probability of choosing a winning rubber duck = 0.24

⇒ Probability of not winning the rubber duck = 1 - 0.24
                                                                       = 0.76

Using the Formula,

 Probability of not winning the Ducks
= No. of non - winning Ducks ÷ Total number of Ducks.

⇒ 0.76 = No. of non - winning Ducks ÷ 25
⇒ No. of non - winning Ducks = 0.76 × 25
                                                = 19

∴ Number of non winning Ducks is 19.

Hope t helps.

Have a Good Day.
