5x=15000×2
x=15000×2/5

now,
total spectator
=15000+6000
=21000

Let x be the total number of spectators

We are given that At a cricket test match 2/7 of the spectators were in a covered

So, Number of covered spectators =$\frac{2}{7}x$

So, Number of spectators in open place =$x-\frac{2}{7}x$

Number of spectators in open place =$\frac{5}{7}x$

We are given that 15000 were in open place

So,$\frac{5}{7}x = 15000$

$x=\frac{15000 \times 7}{5}$

x=21000

Hence  the total number of spectators are 21000
