Solution:

Cost of $\frac{9}{4}$ kg of apples = Rs.90

1 km = 1000 grams

So, $\frac{9}{4} kg = \frac{9}{4} \times 1000=2250 grams$

So, Cost of 2250 grams of apples = Rs.90

1 rupees = 100 paisa

So, Rs.90= $90 \times 100 = 9000 paisa$

So, cost of 2250 grams of apples = 9000 paisa

So, Cost of 750 grams of apples = $\frac{9000}{2250} \times 750 =3000$

Hence The cost of 750 grams of apples is 3000 paisa
