your \: answer
For Hitting Bull - 50 paise
For missing bull - 10 paise

shots tried - 40
money recieved- 5 rupees
40 paise = 0.4 rupees
Money recieved for hitting 5× .4= 2
Money given for not hitting the bull - ₹ 2-0.1
= 1.9
1.9 ÷ 10 = .19
Hence he gave 19 paise
and got 5

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hits bulls eye = x times

Misses bulls eye = (40-x) times

Money received = 50*x=0.5*x rupees

Money paid = 10*(40-x)paise=0.1(40-x) rupees

ACC. to question

0.5x-0.1(40-x)=5

0.5x-4+0.1x=5

0.6x=5+4

0.6x=9

X=9÷0.6

X=15
