Let the velocity of block 3 be v
Now, suppose the velocity of block 3 is in upward direction.
With the help of constraint equations, we get,
- T/2 × v + T/2 × v2+ T × v1 = 0
- v + v2 + 2v1 = 0
- v + 1 + 2(1) = 0
- v + 3=0
- v = -3 m/sec
