because in equator atmospheric pressure is very low .. nd wind blows from high pressure area to low pressure area

The Surface air that flows from these subtropical high pressure belts towards the equator is deflected towards the west in both hemispheres by the Coriolis effect. These winds blow predominantly from the north east in the northern hemisphere and from the south east in the southern hemisphere.
