IT'S URGENT!!! Does the transfer of energy take place when you push a huge rock with all your might and fail to move it? where is the energy you spend going?

nice question! I think transfer of energy takes place and it will lose in the form of heat, when you push a huge rock the internal biochemical energy is utilised , when you will try to push rock you will be find some changes in your body for instance like heating, blood pressure etc.

ok so you used your muscular energy. but you couldn't move the rock. this energy is radiated as body heat. u can say that work is not done cozz u applied force but the object didn't move. Your muscular energy is radiated as body heat
