At partition , kashmir should have been awarded to Pakistan: give one reasons for this.

no we don't want to awarded Kashmir to Pakistan . because Kashmir belongs to India

In the year of 1947, a decision was put forward that the areas with majority of Muslim population would come directly under Pakistan.

Whereas as for the princely states, it was decided that it would be the rulers of these states who will decide whether they want to annex with India or Pakistan.

So there is nothing like Kashmir should have been awarded to Pakistan or not.
