Bicameral legislature refers to the legislative system which consists of two tier Assemblies.

In India, the Parliament is bicameral in nature. Apart from a few states, the other states of India  are unicameral in nature.

There are seven bicameral states in India, which are:

1. Maharashtra

2. Andhra Pradesh

3. Uttar Pradesh

4. Bihar

5. Jammu and Kashmir

6. Telengana

7. Karnataka
