Question: At room temperature, which is the only metal that is in liquid form? Why?
Answer: Firstly, let me tell you that the only metal that is in liquid form even at room temperature is "Mercury".
Reason: Mercury metal is comprising of very low melting point alloys, that helps it maintain its eutecticity i.e. liquid state at room temperature.
Now, there are some exceptions as well. Though Mercury is used as strandard metal for this purpose but Bromine does exhibits the similar property.
