Dowrr causes Gender discrimination..... because of this while a woman is pregnant is used to examine weather the child will be a girl or a boy, otherwise in future they would have to pay for dowry which is not easy at all for the people, who don't have enough money.

Asking for money, for gifts, in return of nothing? Isn't this wrong?
They take our daughters, and in return they still demand gifts and cash. Why? If proper give and take has to be applied here, they should be the one who should pay the girl's parents. But no, they take their daughter as a hostage to get more and more money out of her parents. Now why wouldn't this cause a gender discrimination? If this thing, this evil thing continues, by virtue all other parents would fear to have a daughter, would fear that they will have to give a whopping amount of money, if they want their daughter to get married. Isn't this enough of a reason for gender discrimination? Because in our society, getting girls married is more important than getting them educated. (note the sarcasm)
