at the airport there is a moving walkway 500m long, which moves at a speed of 4km/h. Aditya and Ravi step on the walkway at the same time. Aditya walks at speed of 6km/h on the walkway,while Ravi stands still. when aditya comes to the end of the walkway . how far is he ahead of Ravi.

Effective speed = 10 km/hr

Time taken to cover 500 m = 0.5/10  =  1/20 hr

1/8 - 1/20  hr Aditya will walk at 6 km/hr speed

= (5 - 2)/40 hr

= 3/40  hr

Speed = 6 km/hr

Distance = (3/40) * 6  =  18/40  km

= 18 * 1000/40

= 450 m

Aditya will be be 450 m ahead of Ravi
