at the beginning BHOLI was a coward girl & there was lack of confidence inside her. But after getting the guidance of her teacher she became confident and courageous enough too stand for herself after that shhe became confident.
-yes she showed and ability to take independent decisions as she had refused to marry Bishambernath. actually she was courageous & respected her parents due to which she agreed to marry him although she did not wanted to do so. but when she saw that bishambernath was disgracing her father then just for the respect of her father
she refused to merry him. the teacher made her courageous enough so that she can stand for herself even when everyone was against her & she took a great independent decision . at the end of the story bholi showed great confidence just because of her self confidence which was given to her by her teacher...
