At the time of sunrise or sunset, the cause of reddening of Sun is due
to the scattering of which rays of light ?


awantika32: red light has longer wave lenth so it reflect easily to reach our eyes and that,s why sky is looking red at that time

it is due to the scattering away of violet indigo and blue... these colours of light scatter away as they have shorter wavelength and red has the longest wavelength. Thus it reaches the eyes of the observer

here is ur answer.

sunrise and sunset the sun is present at Horizon . so, as a result blue colour having short wavelength get scared . whereas , the red colour having the largest wavelength and get least scattered. As a result

red colour reaches fast and make the sun reddish.
