at what angle the work done by constant force is maximum maximum

work = force × displacement× cos angle

when angle = 0°

work = force × displacement × cos 0°

cos 0° = 1

work = force × displacement × 1

work = FORce × displacement

work is maximum at 0°

that mean the direction of displacement and force are same

and,

work = force× displacement × cos 180°

cos 180° = -1

work = force × displacement× -1

work = - force× displacement

work is minimum at 180°

that mean the direction of displacement and force are opposite each other

hope it helpful for you

W=fscostheta
Cos theta = 1 when theta =0degree
So work done is max at 0 degree
