Electric dipole is a condition in which atoms or molecules have both positive and negative charges embedded in them with same magnitude but are seperated or been separately placed at a distance from each other.
The charges should be equal and opposite and the separating distance should be a vector.
In such condition an atom or molecule is said to be a n electric dipole.
