At what distance from a concave mirror of focal length 25 cm should an object be placed so that the size of image is equal to the size of the object . ( please explain in detail with each and every step.)

To obtain a same size image u need to keep the object at center of curvature. Now as
C =2f
C= 2 into 25
= 50cm
The object should b kept at 50 cm

To obtain a same size image we need to keep the object at centre of curvature.

C=2F

= 2×25

= -50cm

The object should be kept at -50 cm.
