To cut at x axis the value of y must be 0
So 3x + 4(0) = 6
3x = 6
x = 2
so the line cuts x axis at ( 2,0)
To cut at y axis the value of x must be 0
3(0) + 4y = 6
4y = 6
y = 6/4
y = 3/2
so the line cuts y axis at (0, 3/2).
Hope it helps you.
So 3x + 4(0) = 6
3x = 6
x = 2
so the line cuts x axis at ( 2,0)
To cut at y axis the value of x must be 0
3(0) + 4y = 6
4y = 6
y = 6/4
y = 3/2
so the line cuts y axis at (0, 3/2).
Hope it helps you.
