At what points, the line 3x− 4y = 12 intersect x-axis and y-axis? Also find the co-ordinates of the

point on this line when:

i) x = 2

ii) x = 6​

3x+4y=12 intersect y-axis

3x+4y=12 [Divide with 12 on both sides]

123x+124y=1212

41x+31y=1

∴ The coordinates of the point

on y-axis (0,3).
