Find the percentage of the selling price:

Selling Price = 100 + 20 = 120%

Find the cost price:

120% = Rs 3000

1% = 3000 ÷ 120 = Rs 25

100% = 25 x 100 = Rs 2500

Answer:

cost price = 3000 rupees

profit = 12×3000/100

= 12×30 = 360 rupees

selling price = cost price + profit

= 3000 + 360

= 3360 rupees Ans.
