At what rate per cent per annum will rupees 630 produce an interest of rupees 126 in 4 years

Interest = P(\frac{r}{100}) <span>\times n</span>
Where P = Principal Amount
r = Rate of interest in %
n = Number of years

Here it is given that

126 = 630 x (r/100)x4 = 630r/25
r = 126 x (25/630) = 5 %
